lyrics

She Walks Her Dog In Pajamas

It's such a familiar sight
Any time of the day
We can't tell if she's taken flight
Or if she's back to stay
She might be a somnambulist
That could be an excuse
A plastic bag is tied to her wrist
She won't put to use

She walks her dog in pajamas
She walks her dog in pajamas

I guess she rolls out of bed
And grabs for the leash
And follows where she is led
She's formed her little niche

She walks her dog in pajamas
She walks her dog in pajamas
We don't know they use to be her mama's
Does she breeze through life's little dramas?

We're free to care why she's so carefree
Or worry who holds her spare key
We all discuss and often guess
If she goes to sleep in a lovely dress

It's strange when we see her pass
In regular clothes
Does she go to work or class?
Seems nobody knows

She walks her dog in pajamas
She walks her dog in pajamas
We don't know they used to be her mama's
Does she breeze through life's little dramas?
